May 2015 Meeting and Luncheon
Our May luncheon and meeting was chock full of information, surprises and thank you’s.
Missy Arp from Premier Medical Gym
First, Missy Arp from the Premier Medical Gym shared some exercises that seniors can safely do at home. She also gave us handouts on fall prevention tips and how to be safe in our homes (photo left). There is one Fall Prevention Class left this year, on August 17, 2015, with a Prevention and Management of Low Back Pain class on August 12, 2015, and finally a Total Knee Replacement Pre-Hab Education class on August 24. Please call Premier Medical Gym 540.388.2915, to register for these classes, which are being held at the Gym.
Our President, Betty Lee, wanted to give a special thanks to the lovely ladies that greet and welcome everyone on luncheon day (photo below).

However, the real surprise came when Catherine Bullock surprised our former Chaplain, Rev. Wayne Hogue and his wife Charlene, with a beautifully chrocheted blanket. See how surprised they were!
